Self control
It is a personal quality involving the ability to regulate one's emotions thoughts and behavior in the face of temptations and impulses.
The biblical understanding differs significantly from secular approaches, while psychological self control aims at personal goals, biblical self control aims at pleasing God.

Galatians 5:22-23 mentioned it as a fruit of the Spirit, highlighting its importance in our walk with the Lord. Paul compares self control to an athlete's discipline in 1 Corinthians 9:25. It highlights the necessity of self discipline not only in spiritual matters but in everyday life pursuits.
Lack of self control can lead to conflicts, misunderstanding, and hurt feelings. A person without self control faces chaos in their life and destruction as stated in Proverbs 25:28, without self control we may react impulsively in anger or frustration damaging our relationships.
How to cultivate self control in our daily life: through prayer and scripture.
